Our quality control team are an integral part of the business. Headed up by the Quality Control Manager Carl ‘Kazen’ Svensson and Lab Technician Declan Thompson.
These guys sample the goods that come into the factory whether this be in the form of scrap, pellets or regrind and using state of the art technology and analytical equipment to help identify the materials and specifications against the data we have available to us.
They carry out a series of tests including melt flow, density, filler content, flexibility, humidity and contamination.
It is imperative that these checks are made and we ensure that they are monitored throughout the production process.
The team will take samples of the finished product before we transport it out to one of our valued customers.
Without the knowledge of the QC team we would be unable to supply our growing customer base.

Here at Moulding Solutions we like to support and engage with the local community. Local employment agencies are used for the recruitment of staff meaning the majority of our employees live within close proximity to the business. We also sponsor local grassroot football teams and provide children with the equipment they need to take part in sport and keep active.

OUR HISTORY
Moulding Solutions Ltd was established at the beginning of 1999. A family business that has developed into one of the leading Plastic Recycling companies in the UK.
The company’s knowledge and experience is based on the founding family members having been technically involved in the Plastics processing industry with over 100 years of unrivalled experience. The family who are all actively involved in the day to day running of the business ensuring both customers and suppliers alike get the service they deserve.
Initially set up by Ernie and Bev Hall making plastic mouldings and as it states in the name finding ‘solutions’ for his large and loyal customer base.
Ernie and Bev saw the potential in the plastic recycling market and focused their attention on this area of the business, with the rapid growth Ernie and Bev’s son Benn and daughter Nyckie then joined the business, adding their expertise in plastics to the company’s knowledge. Since then the business has grown considerably now employing a large team of highly skilled and trained full time members of staff.
Moulding solutions has continued to operate with the same focus and work ethic that Ernie installed but under Benn (MD) and Nyckie’s reigns after Ernie’s sad and sudden departure.
